As Director of Marketing at Consortium9, you’ll be responsible for developing the C9 Marketing team: managing creation, execution, and reports for all marketing campaigns. You will develop our strategy and roadmap by fostering relationships with external agencies, production companies, and other key industry players. Through internal management and external relations, you will actualize our marketing roadmap from strategic development to market.

Has 10+ years marketing experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
Has 3+ years senior management-level experience, leading big teams both externally and internally

Has experience developing brand architecture and product positioning within the digital landscape, bridging together consumer data, competitive/trend analysis, and creative vision
Works across the organization to align external and internal marketing initiatives to match company objectives and goals
Staying focused on the big picture even while getting into the weeds with your team.
A strong communicator. Great follow-through, clear and direct verbal and written communicator, and extremely organized
Consistently exhibits natural curiosity and dynamism
Innate ability to respectfully challenge the status quo
Define, build, and manage the company’s marketing department
Develop and manage C9’s overall Marketing, PR, and Advertising Strategies for all funnel stages and all target audiences (gamers, meta-gamers, and spectators)
Ensure marketing efforts are aligned with the company’s financial and branding goals across all channels
Manage and coordinate partner/agency relationships and productions
Work closely with all relevant departments to lead the creation of engaging brand content that aligns with company needs and goals
Plan and oversee execution of marketing campaigns, brand initiatives, and event experiences
Create and/or approve marketing campaign brief
Originate and oversee marketing partnerships
Oversee and direct the creation of the NOR Brand Style Guide
Define and manage budget expectations and performance
Market research, pricing, product marketing, marketing communications, advertising, and public relations.
Skills:
Extensive marketing knowledge in a variety of disciplines, including multi-media production, UX, social media, digital, trade, PR, and broadcast
Experience managing a broad portfolio of consumer products
Deep understanding of gaming industry dynamics
Ability to build marketing plans supporting the ‘big picture’ while still willing to roll up your sleeves and do detail work
Strong team leadership skills
